Make sure you have read this journal entry before commenting.

I should've uploaded this sooner, but due to my return-to-University business, I was too busy to finish it, although I already inked and scanned it during the last days of the war!

In any case, what you see here is my character, all tattered and wounded, but not willing to give up on supporting the flag on its stand whilst the enemy are pouring fire into the mountains all day! In reality, these bombardments continued well through into the night! If he had to stay that long, then so be it!
You can see the expression of willingness on my characters face!

This is quite a symbolism of how truly courageous our people were despite the misery they went through! I guess you could say this deviant has quite a strong meaning to it! This country went through A LOT, but no one is ever ready to give up on it!

I really hope you appreaciate the idea behind it...
But, if you like, enjoy the pic itself too!

Wow, this is a pretty graphic picture, but very beautiful and symbolic! I especially like the colors of the mountains and sky in the background. Its great to see you back!

Sweet Jesus, that's some awesome work! Not saying that war is pretty (of course its not!), but you did an incredible detail on the wounds and exhausted body of yours. Not an easy task. The background is also super though a lil confusing whats exactly going on.

Fine job! :)

Amazing. It's great to know that you are doing fine after all that's happened. :) Excellent details on everything. The wound, the scratches, and the background are all greatly drawn!

It's great to see a picture that tells a true story. Those kind a pictures have got something special regular pictures don't have. Something you cherish. The drawing is worked out quite stunning. Well done on picturing everything and putting a lot effort and detail in the drawing. You've done really well at expressing yourself in the picture and it's a real eye catching picture. Very well done.
